Description

The project was developed on several levels of reading. An urban reading level, which examines the needs for sports services that the entire Genoese Levant has; a district reading level, which analyzes the specificities of the area and the needs indicated by the territorial structures, a zonal level, with the attempt to return to the inhabitants a part of the territory in a state of semi-abandonment for too many years. The project starts from the analysis of the state of affairs and from the possibility of exploiting the areas made available by the Public Administration, currently used in part as abandoned and unused sports facilities (5 tennis courts and a five-a-side football field, as well as a service building consisting of two buildings connected to each other, also never used and to be completed in the finishes and systems) and partly with parking lots, (one built and not used and one not built). Going up further, instead of the remaining two tennis courts, a 7-a-side football pitch in synthetic grass has been positioned, equipped on the east side with an uncovered staircase for about 400 people max. (located +60.00 meters above sea level) Since the soccer field is larger than the two existing tennis courts, in order not to affect the useful space of the other public parking area above the field, it was decided to exploit the space currently occupied by the separation embankment. placed between the first three tennis courts and the latter two providing for its excavation and the construction above it of a concrete slab which will make it possible to create a field of regulatory dimensions. Below the reinforced concrete slab locker rooms for football teams will be allocated, as well as service spaces and warehouses. All volumes built above ground will be placed outside the buffer zone set by the Province due to the presence of the Rio Castagna coverage. After the 7-a-side football field, a large public car park has been positioned which, although in a different position from that envisaged by the urbanization project, can accommodate approximately the same number of cars. This car park is directly accessible from via delle Campanule and can be used by customers to access the facilities provided. In the part adhering to the hill, the main structure of the large regulation indoor gymnasium for the game of basketball and volleyball at national level was positioned.
